ABOUT

Gold Star Outfitters, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity nonprofit, which provides tailor made outdoor experiences for Gold Star Families, Veterans, Families in Crisis, First Responders, and all persons wishing to enjoy Maine's woods and waters for a moderate, tax deductible fee.  Through our partners, we specialize in adaptive outdoor experiences for those with limited mobility, missing limbs and surviving TBI and PTSD.  Many people do not possess the resources, knowledge or confidence to venture into Maine's vast wilderness landscape without the security of a Maine Guide.  Our slogan "We'll take you there!" captures the inherent purpose of Maine Guides, which is to safely and expertly provide access to nature's sanctuary as a resource for healing, introspection and spiritual renewal.
